Pro-Lock · uPVC systems
Eurocell Aspect bifold door repair.
Eurocell Aspect bifolds are checked for dropped panels, noisy or failing rollers, damaged seals, and locking issues that can make the doorset difficult to use. The system name can be useful context; the assessment establishes what it actually needs.
No need to know the brand
You do not need to identify your doorset first.
You do not need to identify your doorset before getting in touch. Many bifold doors are unbranded or contain a combination of components from different manufacturers. Identifying the system, cross-checking component and part availability, and sourcing suitable parts through our established European network of suppliers is our job. Pro-Lock regularly repairs bifold door systems that other repairers have classed as obsolete, where a suitable repair route can be identified.
What we assess
The brand is the starting point.
01Fractured or damaged hinges
02Broken, worn, or disconnected rollers
03Dragging, dropped, or misaligned panels
04Panels catching the threshold or header
05Difficult closing or locking
06Faulty locks, cylinders, handles, keeps, tracks, guides, and seals
Cause, not just symptom
A complete doorset assessment.
Pro-Lock checks the complete doorset and aims to return it to operation as intended by the manufacturer, rather than treating only the immediate symptom. This helps prevent unnecessary stress transferring to mechanical components, reduces the cycle of repeat repairs, and maximises long-term reliability and service life.
Your assessment is carried out by an experienced engineer, not a salesman. We complete an in-depth assessment of all aspects of your bifold doorset, talk you through the findings while we are on site, and provide the information in the report that accompanies the quotation for any repairs recommended. The £79 fee covers a professional bifold-door assessment lasting 45 to 60 minutes. We take multiple measurements and record detailed observations to identify distortion, alignment issues, components beginning to fail, and underlying causes that could reduce the doorset’s lifespan. Addressing only the visible symptom can lead to repeat repairs, replacement parts, and avoidable additional cost, so the assessment looks for the cause as well.
No repair work is carried out during the assessment. The findings are followed by a comprehensive report and itemised quotation by email, with repairs arranged separately. If you choose to go ahead with the repair, the £79 assessment fee is credited against the repair cost, so you do not pay for the assessment in addition to the repair. The fee is also refunded if suitable parts are unavailable and we cannot provide a quote, or if the doorset is considered beyond economical repair.
All work carried out is backed by our market-leading 12 month warranty, covering our workmanship and any parts supplied and fitted as part of the repair where applicable. Payment is only taken on completion of the agreed repair work, once you are satisfied with the result.
